Cherokee Country Club is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Director of Restaurant Dining to lead our restaurant operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. What You'll Do
As the Director of Restaurant Dining, you will:
- Lead all front-of-house restaurant operations.
- Create an exceptional dining experience for members and guests.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant managers and service staff.
- Foster a positive culture built on teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and hospitality.
- Maintain a visible presence in the dining rooms, engaging with members and supporting the team.
- Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless food and service execution.
- Ensure consistent service standards across all restaurant outlets.
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, payroll, and staffing levels.
- Monitor financial performance while maintaining outstanding service quality.
- Handle member feedback professionally and resolve concerns promptly.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Support club events, holiday functions, and special member activities.
- Collaborate with department leaders to enhance the overall member experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive restaurant management leadership experience.
- Private club, luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor management, and cost control.
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
- ServSafe Manager Certification (or the ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
