Director of Residence Life

The Student Development Office at Milligan University invites applications for the full-time position of Director of Residence Life with an anticipated start date in early July 2026. Reporting to the Dean of Students, the director shapes living-learning environments for over 700 students, supervises Residence Directors and Residence Assistance staff, manages all housing assignments and applications, and oversees the campus intramurals program.
This role is strategically positioned to foster a safe and welcoming residence-hall culture where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Additionally, the Director works collaboratively across departments to provide ongoing support for residential matters.
Successful candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years' experience working with college students in a Student Development related area, and excellent communication skills are required (ability to clearly express ideas and concepts orally and in writing). Successful candidates should also demonstrate a strong Christian faith and commitment to Milligan's mission as a Christian liberal arts university.
