We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation programs based out of our Hesperia office. In this key leadership role, you'll guide a dedicated team of supervisors, case managers, employment specialists, and job coaches while ensuring exceptional services and employment opportunities for our clients throughout the High Desert and surrounding communities.

What You'll Do
As the Director of Rehabilitation Services, you'll provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for VIP's rehabilitation programs, ensuring high-quality services, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and meaningful employment outcomes for our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
How You'll Make an Impact
Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, case managers, employment specialists, and job coaches.
Oversee daily program operations while ensuring high-quality, person-centered services that empower our clients to achieve meaningful employment and greater independence.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Regional Centers, the Department of Rehabilitation, and other referral agencies.
Monitor staffing, scheduling, program performance, and operational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with CARF standards, contractual requirements, and all applicable regulations.
Oversee state billing, funding authorizations, documentation, and reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery while maintaining exceptional quality of care.
Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational growth, staffing, and strategic initiatives.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in rehabilitation services.
Experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
Knowledge of Regional Center and Department of Rehabilitation programs is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build relationships with community partners, funding agencies, and internal teams.
Requirements
Valid California driver's license.
Reliable transportation with current vehicle registration and automobile insurance.
Ability to travel locally between program sites as needed.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 annually
