Creekside Care Center of Gahanna is seeking an experienced, compassionate Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our dynamic therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with prior rehabilitation management experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes while developing and supporting a high-performing interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the rehabilitation department.
- Supervise and mentor therapy staff while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.
- Monitor quality measures and implement continuous process improvements.
- Utilize Net Health and PointClickCare (PCC) documentation systems to support efficient clinical operations.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Previous rehabilitation management experience is required.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
- Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for delivering resident-centered care and building successful therapy teams.
