LTC Therapy is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) – PT/PTA to lead our therapy department within a skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a rehabilitation leader who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and quality patient outcomes in a SNF setting.
What You'll Do:
- Direct and oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Lead, mentor, and support PT, OT, and SLP staff
- Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines, PDPM standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident care plans
- Monitor clinical outcomes, department productivity, and service quality initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and operational records
- Participate in staff onboarding, education, scheduling, and performance management
What We're Looking For:
- Active PT or PTA license required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Previous rehab leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of SNF operations, rehab compliance, and Medicare regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
