Director of Quality

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead and scale a high-performing quality organization within a well-established aerospace manufacturing environment. This leadership role oversees a team of up to 50 professionals and is responsible for driving quality strategy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This is a succession-driven opportunity due to an upcoming retirement, offering strong visibility and the ability to shape the future of quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline (BSEE preferred)
10+ years of quality assurance experience, including progression into leadership roles
Strong background in aerospace manufacturing
Direct experience with FAA regulations, certification, and PMA processes
Proven experience with:
Root cause analysis & corrective actions
Quality systems (AS9100 or similar)
Team leadership and development
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72.00 - $85.00/hr.
