Our client, a respected manufacturer with over 130 years of innovation, is seeking a Director of Purchasing to lead and develop a high-performing procurement team during a growth phase. This on-site role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in complex environments, embraces change, and challenges the status quo to improve supply chain functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing procurement strategies to reduce costs and inventory while ensuring product availability
  • Building strategic vendor relationships supporting quality and reliability
  • Creating KPI dashboards to monitor supply chain performance
  • Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and distribution teams to drive operational excellence
  • Leading and developing the Supply Chain team with clear goals and standards

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years of procurement or supply chain management experience
  • Strong understanding of MRP principles and manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
