About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Director of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program and Supported Living to provide comprehensive oversight of the Transition Age Youth (TAY) Psychiatric Rehabilitation (Psych Rehab) and Supported Independent Living Program (SILP). This role combines clinical leadership with property management responsibilities to ensure high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and safe, supportive housing for program participants.
As a Program Director, you will supervise staff, oversee program operations, and ensure services align with recovery and resiliency principles. You will also manage SILP properties, ensuring a safe and stable environment for participants while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and agency standards.
Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Clinical Leadership
  • Direct daily operations of the TAY Psych Rehab and SILP programs
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate program staff
  • Coordinate and monitor service delivery aligned with recovery-focused principles
  • Review and approve client documentation (assessments, service plans, progress notes, discharge summaries)
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing in collaboration with the billing department
  • Develop and implement therapeutic activities, educational sessions, and support groups
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and agency policies
  • Coordinate admissions and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners
Property Management
  • Oversee all agency-owned SILP properties for safety, cleanliness, and habitability
  • Conduct monthly property inspections and address maintenance needs
  • Coordinate repairs with internal teams or external contractors
  • Manage utility accounts and property-related expenses within budget
  • Maintain and update rental agreements and apply income-based subsidies
  • Track inventory of furnishings and supplies; coordinate replacements as needed
  • Issue and document lease violations and property-related incidents
Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain program census and collaborate with housing coordinators on referrals and eligibility
  • Ensure staff training compliance, including CPRP certification requirements
  • Implement Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives and conduct chart audits
  • Provide demographic and billing data to support accurate EHR documentation
Supervision & Support
  • Provide weekly supervision to TAY Psych Rehab and SILP staff
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of team members
  • Provide on-call support for SILP housing-related emergencies
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mental health direct service
  • At least 2 years of experience in psychiatric rehabilitation
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage both clinical programming and property operations
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Transition Age Youth (TAY) populations
  • Experience in property management or residential program oversight
  • CPRP certification or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire
