Responsibilities:
Join the LTC ACO as the Director of Provider Relations where you will ensure accessible high quality physician services in markets served by Genesis. You will also monitor the on-going activities of Long-Term Care (LTC) Accountable Care Organization (ACO) providers to optimize practice performance.

Visible position reporting to the LTC ACO CEO
Identify, develop, implement, and execute strategies for recruiting targeted physicians.
Establish and maintain relationships with providers to include employed physicians, fee for service (FFS) physicians, and medical staff of the center
Coordinate physician interviews with key center staff, such as Medical Director, Administrator, Director of Nursing, Vice President, or Regional Director of Medical Affairs.
Negotiate arrangements with the nursing center and prepares the appropriate agreements or contract for the provider.
Communicate LTC ACO policies, services, census goals and systems throughout all practice locations, with clinical services and other ancillary services within the centers.
Develop processes that will continue to define the LTC ACO Medical Model in nursing centers and create opportunities for increased GPS nursing center patient penetration along with the VP of Medical Affairs and Area Clinical Practice Managers.
Collaborate with Genesis clinical admissions directors, regional vice presidents and clinical services to ensure maximum effectiveness of all LTC ACO providers to meet regional clinical and operational goals.
Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Health Administration or related field is required. *Must have knowledge of the physician practice operations and experience in drafting, negotiating and closing complex contracts.

*At least five (5) years of experience in Managed Care, Skilled Nursing or Practice Management is preferred.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.

 

Posted Salary Range: USD $160,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
