Position SummaryThe Director of Proprietary & MTO is responsible for leading Circle Ks proprietary Menu-to-Order MTO food platforms across North America. This role owns the strategy development execution standards and performance optimization of Circle K-owned MTO concepts to ensure they are differentiated guest-relevant and operationally executable at scale.This position partners closely with Culinary Innovation Category Management Operations Training Supply Chain Technology and Quality Assurance to deliver best-in-class MTO programs that drive traffic attachment and profitability while maintaining consistent execution and food safety standards. Also any additional duties as assigned.Key ResponsibilitiesProprietary MTO Strategy & Platform OwnershipOwn the strategy and roadmap for Circle K proprietary MTO platformsDefine platform positioning menu architecture and long-term evolutionEnsure proprietary MTO concepts differentiate Circle K in the marketplaceAlign MTO strategy with overall Foodservice and QSRMTO objectivesMenu Offer & Guest ExperiencePartner with Culinary Innovation on menu recipe and product developmentOptimize menus for speed of service operational simplicity and profitabilitySupport value limited-time and regional offers as appropriateBalance customization throughput and execution consistencyExecution Operations & Store ReadinessEnsure MTO programs are simple scalable and executable in storesPartner with Training & Execution teams to develop playbooks and SOPsSupport equipment standards layouts and kitchen workflowsConduct field visits to validate execution and identify gapsPerformance & Continuous ImprovementMonitor MTO performance metrics including sales attachment speed and wasteIdentify opportunities to improve labor efficiency and guest satisfactionSupport pilots tests and phased rollouts of new initiativesBuild business cases for MTO enhancements or expansionsCross-Functional Leadership & GovernanceCollaborate closely with Operations QA Supply Chain IT and MarketingEnsure compliance with FSQA HACCP and regulatory requirementsAlign with technology partners on ordering systems and digital platformsSupport North American rollouts and BU adoption plansQualificationsRequired8 years of experience in foodservice QSR proprietary brands or MTO operationsStrong understanding of multi-unit operations and in-store executionExperience leading or scaling proprietary food platformsProven cross-functional leadership and collaboration skillsStrong analytical problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to operate effectively in both strategic and field environmentsWillingness to travel up to 60PreferredExperience with Menu-to-Order KDS kiosks or digital ordering platformsBackground in QSR or convenience retail foodservicePrivate-label or controlled brand experienceFamiliarity with food safety audits equipment standards and workflow optimization Circle K is an Equal Opportunity Employer.The Company complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act the ADA and all state and local disability laws.
