job summary: Global manufacturing company with locations nationwide is seeking a Director of Procurement for their facility in the Nashville TN area. This positon will oversee MRO, CapEx, and logistics sourcing across several manufacturing plants in the US.
Qualifiedcandidates will have 10+ years of Director-level procurement experience in manufacturing and a proven track record of driving multi-site contract negotiations.

responsibilities:
Develop and execute multi-year procurement strategies for all non-raw material categories (MRO, CapEx, logistics, and services) across multiple plants nationwide.
Lead competitive bidding (RFPs/RFQs) and contract negotiations to deliver measurable cost savings, lower total cost of ownership, and improve payment terms.
Standardize preferred supplier relationships and implement performance metrics to reduce vendor fragmentation and leverage spend across sites.
Partner with local plant leadership (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering) to secure supply continuity, support capital projects, and prevent production downtime.
Drive the alignment of purchasing policies and maximize the adoption of ERP and digital procurement tools across all locations.
Manage, coach, and upskill a distributed team of procurement professionals by setting clear KPIs and corporate accountability.
