Director Of Power Delivery

Lead and oversee power delivery projects across transmission, distribution, substations, protection & controls, interconnection, and related infrastructure throughout the U.S. Provide strategic technical leadership across engineering, design, project management, and execution. Manage, mentor, and grow teams of Project Managers, engineers, designers, and technical staff. Serve as a senior client liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships while supporting projects from concept through execution. Partner with leadership to expand market presence, grow client relationships, and pursue new opportunities. Drive recruiting, retention, and development of top technical talent. Lead annual business planning, including revenue forecasting, staffing strategy, and growth initiatives. Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation. Improve internal processes, delivery standards, QA/QC practices, and operational scalability. Coordinate across internal teams, utility clients, developers, contractors, and stakeholders. Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices across the Power Delivery group. Promote a culture of technical excellence, accountability, mentorship, and proactive communication.

A successful Director of Power Delivery should have: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (PE preferred). 12+ years of experience in power & energy, utilities, or related infrastructure work. Experience across transmission, distribution, substations, protection & controls, interconnection, or power system studies. Proven client-facing leadership experience with strong communication and relationship management skills. Demonstrated success leading and developing multidisciplinary teams. Strong business and strategic planning experience (forecasting, staffing, growth initiatives). Solid understanding of engineering/design workflows for utility and high-voltage infrastructure projects. Experience partnering with utilities, developers, IPPs, or large infrastructure clients preferred.
