Partnerships @ Zenskar Partnerships aren't a side motion at Zenskar - they're a core GTM pillar. The CFOs and controllers we sell to trust their advisors. Accounting firms, fractional CFO networks, and finance transformation consultants sit in the room when our buyers make decisions. We're building a partner ecosystem that puts Zenskar in that room too. We have an extremely high bar for the individuals we hire, as you will realize when you meet the rest of the team. About This Role Why this role matters Zenskar has found product-market fit and built a repeatable sales motion. Until now, our GTM success has been led by: A 20-member demand engine (BDRs, Marketers, RevOps) 5 Account Executives A 5-member Customer Success team We've already closed multiple cycles with US customers, seen zero churn, and doubled revenue in the last 6 months. Today, more than 70% of our customer base is already in the US, and with a pipeline strong enough to hit 4x growth this year, we're ready to make partnerships a core pillar of our GTM. We've already signed a dozen partners - accounting firms, CFO advisory practices, and finance transformation consultants - with two dozen more in active pipeline. This is not starting from scratch. You're inheriting real momentum and building on it. This is not just another partnership role. It's about laying the foundation for Zenskar's long-term GTM moat - a scaled partner channel that compounds over time. In addition to backing from Bessemer Venture Partners, with Jeff Epstein (ex-CFO of Oracle, Chair of the board - Twilio) as an advisor, we have the backing and guidance from one of the most respected leaders in finance and software. If you want to be part of building the next great AI-SaaS GTM engine, this is your chance. Way forward On track to 4x revenue in 2025 and 2026 consecutively. A dozen signTed partners and two dozen in pipeline - real foundation to build on, not a blank slate. A clear path to partnerships leadership as we scale the channel across North America. Your Role As Director of Partnerships, you'll own the end-to-end partner motion - from identifying and signing high-impact partners to driving joint pipeline and revenue. Initially, you'll be a hands-on builder, personally creating the playbook and building the motion. As the channel scales, you'll evolve into a player-coach, helping recruit, mentor, and lead a small partnerships team while remaining close to customers, partners, and revenue generation.
Your partners are primarily accounting firms, CFO advisory practices, and finance transformation consultants. You need to understand how these firms operate, how they evaluate vendors, and how to build trust with practitioners who advise CFOs and controllers directly. This is a highly cross-functional role. You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and the Founders - operating at the intersection of strategy and execution. We're looking for someone who can think big, execute relentlessly, and build partner relationships that actually move revenue. You'll travel 3-5x per quarter for in-person partner meetings, events, and relationship development. Partnerships in this space are built in person - not over email. What you'll do Partner strategy - Define ideal partner personas aligned to Zenskar's ICP and map where partnerships fit across the buyer journey. Source & sign net-new partners - Own outreach, discovery, qualification, and onboarding from first contact through launch. Build a repeatable acquisition motion, not one-off relationships. Drive revenue through the channel - Develop joint go-to-market strategies that generate measurable pipeline. Own and hit quarterly partner-sourced SQO and pipeline targets. This is a revenue role, not a relationship role. Field presence - Spend meaningful time building relationships through in-person meetings, lunch-and-learns, executive sessions, and industry conferences. Show up where real momentum gets created. Simply put: build Zenskar's partnership channel from the ground up and own the revenue it generates. Key Qualifications 5+ years in B2B SaaS, with at least 2-3 years owning partnerships in the CFO/finance tech space - specifically with accounting firms, advisory practices, or finance transformation consultancies Proven track record of building partner-sourced pipeline from scratch - you've had a quota, hit it, and can point to specific revenue numbers Experience self-sourcing partners through outbound - you didn't inherit a program or manage inbound only Strong first-principles understanding of business fundamentals, with the ability to deeply understand the product and empathize with customer pain points Comfortable balancing strategic vision and tactical execution - you think big and do the work Strong project management skills; the partner cycle is long and requires proactive follow-through Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to build, manage, and motivate a team as we scale High ownership, strong work ethic, entrepreneurial mindset Previous experience at an early-stage startup is a huge plus Not taking yourself too seriously :) Why Join Zenskar Massive growth trajectory - Zero churn, 5x revenue growth in the past year, on track to 4x again. The demand is real. You're building the channel, not inheriting it - A dozen signed partners, two dozen in pipeline, and full ownership of where this goes from here. Sell something that actually matters - We're a painkiller, not a vitamin. Finance teams are drowning in manual work. Zenskar fixes that. Partners know it, and their clients feel it. No bureaucracy - Early-stage speed, direct founder access, and the ability to shape the playbook rather than follow one. Career acceleration - A clear path to partnerships leadership as we scale the channel across North America. If you're looking for a fully-baked playbook and a steady-state role, Zenskar isn't the place. But if you're fired up by building and scaling a motion, breaking into enterprise accounts, and leaving your mark as the first US partnership hire - let's talk.
