Urgent Hiring for Overnight Cleaning & Facilities Director! $25/hr.

The Overnight Cleaning and Facilities plays a critical role in ensuring Chick‑fil‑A City Ave opens each day in a spotless, safe, and fully operational condition. This leader oversees all cleaning and maintenance activities during overnight hours, supports team performance, and ensures the building meets Chick‑fil‑A’s high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and readiness. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and skilled in both hands‑on cleaning and team coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the overnight cleaning team to ensure all tasks are completed with excellence.
• Assign nightly responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure team members follow safety, sanitation, and chemical‑handling procedures.
• Maintain a positive, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Close and clean the dining room
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean bathrooms and change garbage
• Thoroughly clean the ice cream machine
• Break down and sanitize kitchen and counter equipment
• Verify truck items against the invoice and store products correctly
• Conduct final walkthrough to ensure cleanliness and equipment placement
• Document any damaged or missing items and notify leadership

Cleaning & Sanitation Excellence

• Keep all areas of the building in a clean, sanitary, and guest‑ready condition.
• Perform and oversee heavy‑duty cleaning tasks including scrubbing, degreasing, and equipment breakdown.
• Clean building floors (vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, sweeping).
• Clean and restock restrooms, windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Ensure all cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored.

Operational Readiness

• Complete nightly checklists and document completed tasks.
• Communicate shift updates, maintenance needs, and concerns to leadership.
• Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for the opening team each morning.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in facilities, janitorial services, or operations
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning processes, equipment, and sanitation standards
• Experience managing and developing teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work overnight hours consistently
• Ability to lift/move equipment and perform hands‑on cleaning tasks as needed
• A proactive, dependable leader who takes ownership of results
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and respond quickly to issues.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑driven.
• Comfortable balancing hands‑on cleaning with leadership responsibilities.
