In collaboration with the Division AVP of the Transfer Center, the Operations Director of the National Transfer Center is responsible for effectively leading all aspects of the transfer center operation, including the design and implementation of new programs, processes, and functions within the center. This position will lead all hiring of transfer center staff, have direct reporting authority for the Transfer Center Clinical Manager, and is responsible for the development of the team including all training. The Operations Director will assist in leading the transfer strategy across the division by collaborating with division and hospital leadership to drive strategic alignment that results in enhanced clinical outcomes for our patients and increased growth through the center into HCA. This includes rollout of new initiatives and workflows, such as central patient placement and discharge transportation, gaining buy-in from division and hospital leaders, physicians, and staff for successful implementation at all levels. This position provides support to the Division AVP at times serving as a primary customer lead to key division and hospital leaders, as well as taking lead on requested division wide initiatives.
