Our smart locker systems are built to satisfy any solution with maximum security; intelligent key-less lockers that accept credit cards, charge laptops, send text messages, and more. 

We are currently seeking a Director of Operations to work on site at our North Las Vegas facility. 

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance while leading teams to achieve production goals.

What You'll Do:

Oversee Manufacturing Operations: The Director manages all manufacturing activities, ensuring that production runs smoothly and meets quality standards, plus coordinate plant activities and set priorities for the production department.

Process Improvement: You will continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs, which may involve adopting lean manufacturing principles and utilizing technology for efficiency.

Quality Assurance: You will work to ensure that products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements, develop quality assurance protocols and conduct regular audits.

Cost Management: The Director is responsible for monitoring operating expenses, implementing strategies to minimize waste, managing a budget and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

Staff Management and Development: You will lead and mentor production teams, provide guidance and support, assess job performance, develop training programs, and foster a positive work environment.

Production Planning and Control: You will develop and implement production schedules that align with organizational goals, respond to customer demands, and manage resources such as materials, equipment, and labor.

Compliance and Safety: You will be responsible for maintaining operational integrity by fostering a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and compliance with industry standards. 

Collaboration with Other Departments: You will work closely with other departments, such as finance and sales, to ensure that manufacturing processes align with overall business objectives. This includes managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.

Leadership and Communication: The Director manages a direct report team between 2-8 people, who supervise 25-100 people. You will need strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to be effective in this role. Your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal customers is critical.  You will also ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective and aligned with the Company’s strategic goals.




Requirements

Requirements You'll Need to Meet:


• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field is required, Advanced degrees or certifications in areas like lean manufacturing or six-sigma is a plus. 
• 7+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing facility with a proven track record of leading teams and managing scale production processes.
• Ability to manage and work around production areas.
• Able to travel as needed.
