Job Overview:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of Springhill Suites Medical Center. This role will ensure that all departments function seamlessly together to deliver superior guest experiences while maximizing operational efficiencies and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize operational efficiency and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze hotel performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by leading, mentoring, and developing department managers and team members.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all hotel operations.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for maximizing revenue.
- Prepare and manage the hotel's budget, ensuring judicious allocation of resources to achieve financial goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with guests, addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise to ensure a memorable stay.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel management with a strong track record of leading hotel operations successfully.
- Demonstrated understanding of various hotel functions including guest services, housekeeping, and food and beverage management.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to innovate and modernize operations to stay competitive within the industry.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
