Job Description
Direct responsibility for the daily operations of Central Sterile Processing across the organization; including but not limited to:
• Overseeing daily practice operations • Infection prevention • Safety • Recruitment • Retention • Adherence to policies and procedures • Support ongoing education of staff • Ensure a Culture of Service and quality is being fostered • Ensure promoting positive patient outcomes
Experience Requirements
6-10 years progressive Central Sterile Processing (CSP) and leadership experience required. In-depth knowledge of the following standards:
• AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) • AORN • FDA • JCAHO • OSHA
Computer and financial management experience required.
Education Requirements
Associates degree required. Bachelors/Masters preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
Current licensure as a NJ-CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management) required. Valid Drivers license.
Salary Range
Min: USD $48.08 Max: USD $83.00
