Description
This Director of Operations will be responsible for:
- Leading multi-site manufacturing operations across locations
- Driving operational excellence, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives
- Overseeing production, quality, supply chain, and engineering
- Setting and executing operational strategy aligned to business goals
- Ensuring compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards
- Coaching and developing plant leaders and cross-functional teams
- Analyzing performance metrics to improve productivity and cost
- Managing capital investments, automation, and facility upgrades
- Championing safety, risk management, and compliance programs
- Collaborating with executive leadership on growth initiatives
Profile
A Successful Director of Operations will have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10-15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- 5+ years leading multi-site operations
- Aerospace or regulated manufacturing experience preferred
- Background in precision machining or engineered products
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to travel ~30%
