Qualifications

  1. Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  2. Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience required
  3. Long-term care/skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
  4. Strong knowledge of nursing standards, regulations, and long-term care guidelines
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  6. Compassionate and positive attitude toward the elderly
  7. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  8. Must pass background check and drug screening


Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team
  2. Oversee all functions of the Nursing Department
  3. Collaborate closely with the Administrator and department leaders
  4. Ensure high-quality resident care and clinical compliance
  5. Monitor nursing practices, care plans, and assessments
  6. Promote residents’ rights, dignity, and quality of life
  7. Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing programs and developmental plans
  8. Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment
