Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all surgical services departments
  • Direct and oversee nursing staff within Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Gastroenterology units
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation guidelines
  • Drive departmental performance through quality initiatives and process improvement
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation across the surgical services division
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to align surgical nursing operations with organizational goals
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for nursing within surgical services
  • Support recruitment, retention, and professional development of nursing staff

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a Director-level role required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Advanced degree such as MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA strongly preferred
  • Experience working in PACU, Pre-Op, Post-Op, Gastroenterology, and Surgery preferred
  • Experience managing 60 or more full-time equivalents preferred
