Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement nursing structures within budget, staffing, and regulatory requirements.
Complete accurate MDS assessments and care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and care teams.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff; handle recruitment, hiring, and performance management.
Conduct daily clinical rounds, oversee quality of care, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Investigate and resolve incidents, grievances, and personnel issues.
Lead staff education, infection control, and policy development.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams on patient care.
Prepare reports, conduct meetings, and monitor departmental performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred); advanced degree or leadership certification a plus
Active RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 5 years of experience in geriatrics
