Job Summary

The Director of Nursing plans, directs, and syncs nursing and clinical services at Baylor Scott and White Health. They manage patient care across various healthcare facilities. The role involves shaping and communicating clinical targets for nursing units. It aligns with overall patient care goals. The Director is accountable for providing high-quality, cost-effective patient care within their designated area.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Oversee nursing services and propose both strategic and operational plans.
  • Track daily productivity and address any deviations from established standards.
  • Progress goals for improving quality.
  • Investigate unfortunate incidents and partner to improve patient care.
  • Conduct clinical assessments.
  • Ensure all nursing services are compliant with legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop metrics for monitoring performance.
  • Facilitate communication within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor''s Degree
  • EXPERIENCE - (3) Three Years of Experience
  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION-Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitate (CPR): BLS or CPR Required.
