A fast-paced Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care facility in the greater Merced area is seeking a strong, communicative Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and support a high-performing clinical team.
This is a 4-star facility (Overall Rating) with under 80 beds, offering a dynamic mix of 30–40% short-term rehab (skilled) with the balance in long-term care. Backed by a mid-sized, for-profit organization, you’ll have the support and resources needed to succeed—along with real opportunity for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all nursing operations, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff and department leaders
- Drive clinical outcomes, QAPI initiatives, and survey readiness
- Collaborate closely with Administrator and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain staffing, retention, and a positive team culture
Ideal Candidate:
- Active RN license required
- Proven DON or strong ADON experience in SNF/LTC
