Director of Nursing (DON) - Skilled Nursing Facility

Salary: $150,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department at our skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall operations of the Nursing Department

  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures

  • Ensure accurate nursing documentation and conduct routine chart audits

  • Oversee regulatory compliance and quality initiatives

  • Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and discharge planning

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff and department leaders

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote excellent resident outcomes

Qualifications

  • Active RN license required

  • Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Unit Manager, or other nursing leadership experience preferred

  • Skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care experience required

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Commitment to quality care and regulatory excellence
