Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Director of Nursing ( DON ) RN LTC for our client in Portland, OR . This is a 13 weeks contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Director of Nursing (DON) RN LTC
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Variable Day Shift (8-Hour Shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations within the Long Term Care facility
Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
Oversee resident care plans, clinical outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
Manage staffing, scheduling, and nursing department operations
Monitor documentation, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance
Support staff development, training, and performance management

Requirements:

Active RN License required
Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting required
Strong leadership and management experience in skilled nursing or nursing home environments
Knowledge of LTC regulations, compliance standards, and survey readiness
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
