Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Director of Nursing ( DON ) RN LTC for our client in Portland, OR . This is a 13 weeks contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!


Position Title: Director of Nursing (DON) RN LTC
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Variable Day Shift (8-Hour Shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for nursing operations within the Long Term Care facility
  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
  • Oversee resident care plans, clinical outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and nursing department operations
  • Monitor documentation, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance
  • Support staff development, training, and performance management

Requirements:

  • Active RN License required
  • Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting required
  • Strong leadership and management experience in skilled nursing or nursing home environments
  • Knowledge of LTC regulations, compliance standards, and survey readiness
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
