Director of Nursing - Willow Ridge

 The Director of Nursing works under the general direction of the Administrator, supervises and monitors work of assigned staff to ensure proper completion of work and adherence to safety standards and in accordance with federal and state regulations while maintaining quality and compliance with standards of care.  Hires staff; schedules, assigns, and reviews work; determines and maintains appropriate staffing levels; provides work instruction and training to employees; effectively recommends corrective action; evaluates employee performance; receives and adjusts employee complaints and grievances; develops, implements, and maintains departmental policies and procedures.

 This position provides the opportunity to work in Ohio's first Green House Homes.  Responsibilities include management and administration of all nursing services in the 20 elders living in two Green House Homes; including budget and labor management, approving payroll, planning and development of nursing services; supervision of staff, and the delivery of high-quality nursing care that meets the needs and wants of our customers. 

Qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a self- managed work team.  A broad knowledge of applicable health and nursing home regulations, and the ability to work with physicians, nurses, other health care providers, family members, and elders to ensure quality of care. Registered Nurse with 2-4 years of nursing experience in long term care with leadership and management experience required.  BSN preferred.
