What You Will BringQualifications may vary by position and community. Candidates should have:
- A current Registered Nurse license in accordance with state requirements
- At least one year of RN experience in assisted living, home care or hospice and two years of RN experience in a care setting
- A bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred
- Gerontology certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center, preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, preferred
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
