**Job Description** We are seeking a **Director of Networking Hardware Sourcing** to lead strategy and execution for critical infrastructure components supporting Oracle Cloud (OCI) and on-premises platforms. This leader will own end-to-end sourcing strategy across key networking hardware categories and manage a team responsible for supplier relationships, cost optimization, and supply continuity at global scale. This role partners closely with Engineering, Product, and Finance to ensure scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain solutions that support rapid cloud growth and new product introduction. **Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities** + Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals responsible for networking hardware categories (e.g., switches, optics, and related components). + Define and execute global commodity strategies to optimize cost, performance, and supply continuity across the product lifecycle-from new product introduction (NPI) through end-of-life. + Serve as the primary executive interface for key suppliers, driving strategic partnerships, performance management, and long-term capacity planning. + Partner with Engineering to support product development, including supplier selection, RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), and design-for-supply-chain initiatives. + Negotiate complex supply agreements, pricing structures, and contractual terms aligned with Oracle standards. + Drive supply chain resiliency through risk mitigation strategies, alternate sourcing, and supplier diversification. + Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational scalability. + Support material escalations and ensure continuity of supply in dynamic, high-growth environments. **Minimum Qualifications** + 10+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or supplier management, with a focus on **hardware or infrastructure technologies** + 5+ years of experience leading and developing **high-performing teams** , including managing managers or senior individual contributors. + Proven experience owning **commodity strategy** for hardware components, including cost, supply continuity, and supplier performance. + Strong experience negotiating **complex commercial agreements** , including pricing, supply terms, and long-term contracts. + Experience partnering cross-functionally with **Engineering, Product, and Finance** teams to support new product introduction (NPI) and lifecycle management. + Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across **senior stakeholders** in a matrixed organization. + Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field **Preferred Qualifications** + Direct experience with **networking hardware technologies** (e.g., switches, routers, optics, ASICs, connectivity components) + Experience working with **ODM/JDM partners** and hardware manufacturing ecosystems. + Background supporting **cloud infrastructure, data center, or hyperscale environments** + Strong understanding of **hardware product development cycles** and design-for-supply-chain principles + Experience developing **multi-region/global sourcing strategies** and managing supply risk + Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) + Track record of driving **cost optimization and supply chain resiliency** at scale Disclaimer: **Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.** **Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only** US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
