Director of Memory Care, Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Weekend, evening, and schedule flexibility required

The Gardens Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Director of Memory Care to lead our 35-apartment Memory Care Neighborhood. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a vibrant, person-centered program while leading a team committed to delivering exceptional care and meaningful experiences for our residents.

Position Overview
As the Director of Memory Care, you will oversee the daily operations, programming, and staff within the memory care neighborhood. You will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes dignity, purpose, and quality of life for residents living with dementia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, plan, and manage all aspects of the memory care neighborhood in compliance with state regulations and assisted living standards
• Develop and implement creative, purposeful, and engaging memory care programming
• Supervise, coach, and support memory care staff to ensure high-quality care and teamwork
• Provide ongoing staff education and training on dementia care best practices
• Serve as a facility resource regarding all memory care needs within The Gardens community
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with families, staff, and organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association
• Foster a warm, structured, and person-centered environment for residents

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dementia or memory care
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or eligibility to obtain certification
• Strong understanding of the emotional, psychological, and social needs of the geriatric population
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
