Qualifications:

• Meet Department of Education Certification/Licensure Requirements
• The ability to relate and understand the needs of at-risk students

• An understanding of the unique needs of students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs and a strong desire to with students in MAC Academy
• Manage and lead other staff
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, students and parents
• Ability to be self-motivated and support student and district goals in an independent setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Duties:

• Coordination of program of study for students, working closely with MHS Admin/Counselors

• • Coordination of application process for MAC

• As normally assigned to this position

• As per job description

Preference will be given to the candidate who:

• Possesses the best qualifications and trainings to meet the needs of the students
• Presents the strongest interview

Rate of Compensation:

• As per 2026-27 Teachers Master Contract
