Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree required; Master''s degree preferred in related field
  • 8 years of experience in related field
  • 6 years supervisory experience
  • Certification preferred
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize accurately
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally (and externally as applicable)
  • Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills
  • Must be able to travel based on department needs

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

M&A Integration Leadership

  • Lead finance and accounting integration for acquisitions and divestitures, from due diligence through post-close stabilization and transition to steady-state ownership
  • Establish appropriate financial controls, reporting structures, and operating processes within acquired businesses
  • Serve as the primary finance liaison across Corporate Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury, Legal, and Operations
  • Present integration status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership

Integration Accounting and Financial Oversight

  • Own accounting and reporting for integration-related activity, including integration/restructuring costs, severance, retention, earnouts, working capital adjustments, and acquisition-related accruals
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial results tied to acquisitions
  • Partner with controllership on accounting policy alignment and execution

Revenue Systems, Close, and Financial Reporting

  • Oversee integrity and performance of revenue processes driven by Practice Engine and related systems, including complex intercompany flows, allocations, inter-region revenue reporting, and commission/incentive accruals
  • Partner with accounting leaders on monthly close, including tie-outs, issue resolution, and required adjustments, lead root cause analysis and corrective action on revenue discrepancies
  • Provide finance leadership and governance over system integration and stabilization efforts, including requirements definition, testing, and issue resolution for major initiatives (e.g., Practice Engine conversion, Oracle-related projects)
  • Drive standardization and scalability of revenue and reporting processes across legacy and acquired entities; identify control gaps and implement sustainable improvements

Special Projects and Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives spanning Finance, IT, and Operations; own complex, unstructured problems that require coordination across multiple functions
  • Partner with FP&A and Operations to improve data quality, consistency, and transparency across reporting processes
  • Support ongoing efforts to standardize processes and improve operating efficiency across the division
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned in support of divisional and organizational priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Experience with financial systems implementations or conversions
  • Background in professional services or multi-entity environments with complex intercompany structures
  • Experience in M&A integration, financial process leadership, or complex transformation initiatives
