Director of Leadership Giving and Institutional Liaison
This is an exempt, full-time position and must adhere to the regulations stipulated in the Mount Marty University Employee Handbook. The Director of Leadership Giving and Institutional Liaison will manage leadership annual giving donors and develop the pipeline of future major gift prospects by identifying, qualifying, and advancing donor relationships, while serving as Advancement's primary connection to key affinity groups.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of approximately 75 leadership-level donors, focused on retention, engagement, and upgrades
Develop and execute strategies to retain, upgrade, and qualify donors, advancing them toward major gift readiness
Complete 100+ Significant Contacts and 100+ Other Contacts annually
Identify and qualify new prospects, advancing them into active donor portfolios
Transition qualified prospects to Directors of Development for major gift management
Serve as Advancement's liaison to:
Alumni Council
Gregorian Fine Arts Association (GFAA)
Friends of Nursing
Support donor engagement through event presence and follow-up, in coordination with Annual Giving, Communications & Events
Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation, including strategies, actions, and outcomes
Perform other duties as assigned
