This role requires strategic thinking technical expertise and strong leadership skills to ensure the efficient and secure use of technology across the company.Essential FunctionsDevelop and execute the IT strategy aligned with NorthStar Energy&8217s business objectives.Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of the company&8217s IT infrastructure systems and networks.Ensure the security and integrity of data information systems and technology assets.Lead and manage a team of IT professionals including hiring training and performance management.Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize technology needs and provide effective IT solutions.Manage IT projects including planning budgeting resource allocation and tracking progress.Stay up-to-date with technology trends and advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.Develop and implement IT policies procedures and best practices to ensure compliance data privacy and operational efficiency.Evaluate and recommend hardware software and technology vendors negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective solutions.Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as technology partners vendors and regulatory bodies.Maintain a top-tier cybersecurity posture across the enterprise including threat prevention detection incident response and ongoing risk assessment.Help develop and advance the company&8217s AI strategy identifying practical applications governance guardrails and adoption opportunities across the business.Oversee systems integrations and technology selection ensuring platforms interoperate effectively and align with enterprise architecture standards.Perform all other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceBachelor&8217s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
