Job Description:

Shift: Hybrid position, 3 days in office, 2 remote some weekends and evenings

Address: 800 N. Magnolia Ave, Suite 600, Orlando, FL 32803

Ensures the active and informed engagement of the foundation's board, its committees, and region and campus executives in securing charitable investments to advance the hospital's strategic goals and operational priorities. Collaborates with institutional leadership and the board to establish realistic annual financial goals based on the hospital's strategic priorities. Focuses on relationship-based giving from individuals and businesses through major, planned, and blended gifts. Works with hospital leadership and the foundation's board to identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospects and donors. Collaborates with finance department to ensure accurate documentation, fiscal management, and accountability. Records all donor activity in software management system and ensures all donations are reconciled using management system and other software tools. Ensures prompt and accurate donor acknowledgment and recognition. Provides reports to the board and executive leadership on the foundation's goals, progress, challenges, and opportunities. Collaborates, supports, and plans annual giving opportunities to acquire, renew, and upgrade donors through various channels. Develops the foundation's promotional plans and materials in collaboration with other regional foundations and teams to ensure alignment with brand standards. Presents the foundation's information and updates to campus leadership and new employees. Directs the foundation's board in identifying, engaging, and orienting volunteer board members to meet the foundation's goals. Other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and fundraising software

Work Experience:

  • 3+ leadership experience [Preferred]
  • 5+ related experience in a fund-raising foundation role where the annual contributions were near or exceeded $1 million. [Required]
  • Experience in non-profit work [Preferred]
  • Experience in corporate philanthropy [Preferred]
  • Proficient in Blackbaud [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE [Preferred]
