About Keystone Technologies:

Founded in 1945, Keystone Technologies is a third-generation, family-owned business headquartered in the Greater Philadelphia area. A national leader in the commercial and industrial lighting industry, Keystone reaches customers across the U.S. with its mission of "Light Made Easy."

Who We Are:

We’re not your typical lighting company — and we like it that way. At Keystone, we move fast, think big, and challenge the status quo to deliver on our promise of Light Made Easy®. Our team thrives on new ideas, supports one another, aims high, works hard, and laughs often. And we always put people first — whether that’s our customers, partners, or each other. If you’re passionate about growing, collaborating, and making a difference, you’ll feel right at home here.

Our Core Values

  • Wow Customers: Every interaction is an opportunity to show how much we care and appreciate all our customers, internal and external, so we create unique experiences that go above and beyond their expectations.
  • Grow Passionately: We embrace growth through creativity, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn. Our work isn’t just about achieving more; it’s about evolving personally and professionally, transforming at every opportunity.
  • Do Right: It’s not just good ethics to do the right thing; it’s good business. We uphold the highest integrity, and we do the right thing even when it’s hard. Why? Because trust is our most important currency.
  • Value People: We come from a range of backgrounds, affiliations, and experiences. We honor everybody’s story and build lifelong relationships, whether with colleagues, customers, or partners, because to reach our fullest potential means empowering people to thrive.
  • Challenge Convention: We refuse to blindly accept the status quo. With agility, courage, and tenacity, we continuously improve — asking tough questions, looking beyond surfaces, and not stopping to rest on our accomplishments.

What we offer:

Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, employer-paid group life insurance, short-term disability, a 401k plan with company match, paid time off, and philanthropic opportunities.

The Opportunity:

The Director of IT is responsible for owning, operating, and continuously improving the company’s core technology environment, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical judgment, independence, and initiative. The Director of IT will personally drive execution while building the foundation for a more mature IT organization over time. This role partners closely with business, Data, and AI leadership and requires strong judgment, initiative, and accountability for technical decisions.

Your Impact:

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and resilience of all core systems, infrastructure, and data supporting daily business operations

  • Own enterprise applications, including (but not limited to) ERP, CRM, data platforms, and productivity tools, ensuring they effectively support business workflows

  • Lead enterprise cybersecurity, risk management, incident response, and business continuity, including disaster recovery

  • Translate evolving business priorities into practical IT solutions and execution plans

  • In partnership with Data and AI leadership, enable the use of technology, data, and automation to improve efficiency and scalability

  • Serve as a hands-on technical leader, directly contributing to system design, troubleshooting, and implementation as needed

  • Manage and develop internal IT staff and external vendors, setting clear priorities, expectations, and accountability

  • Own IT financial management, vendor relationships, and governance to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and value-driven decisions

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, clearly communicating risks, tradeoffs, and progress in plain language

  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field

  • Experience leading and operating enterprise IT functions or systems

  • Prior accountability for technology environments supporting core business operations

  • Experience managing and developing small teams and/or external service providers

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a hands-on leadership role

  • Proven experience operating mission-critical enterprise technology environments with strong standards for reliability and security

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems and platforms, not solely oversight or strategy

  • Strong systems and architectural thinking, including sound judgment around build-vs-buy decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business teams to support analytics, automation, and process improvement initiatives

  • Experience leading and executing cross-functional technology initiatives with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to operate independently, seek external expertise when needed, and make sound technical decisions without day-to-day technical oversight

  • Competence with project management, inclusive of internal and external team members

  • Strong vendor, financial, and governance acumen, balancing agility with discipline and risk management

  • Uphold and implement Keystone’s Core Values, consistently aligning actions and decisions that reflect the core principles

  • Technology environment: This role operates within a modern enterprise technology environment. Experience with similar platforms and systems is strongly preferred.

    • Enterprise productivity and collaboration platforms (currently Microsoft M365, including Power Platform and Copilot)

    • ERP platforms supporting manufacturing and distribution operations (currently Prophet21 by Epicor)

    • CRM platforms (currently Dynamics 365)

    • Relational database platforms and data management tools (currently SQL Server and SSMS)

    • Cloud infrastructure and platform services (currently Microsoft Azure)

    • Enterprise networking and security technologies (currently Fortinet firewalls, Ubiquiti switches and access points)

    • IT service management and ticketing platforms (currently Jira)

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
