Directly responsibly for administering human resources policies, programs and practices: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing. Duties include formulating policies and procedures for the Human Resources Department and recommending policies and practices to senior management and updating the employee handbook accordingly. Duties also include communicating the above-mentioned policies and procedures as well as laws, standards, and government regulations to the employees of the University. Consults with legal council on policy development and employee relation issues when appropriate. Represents GV and the HR department in a positive, service-oriented manner.
