Responsibilities Director of Human Resources Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) A growing, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24-hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.
Position summary We are seeking a dynamic, Human Resources professional to join our team. The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing overall human resources generalist support for the facility, which includes recruiting for vacant positions, facilitating general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, facilitating employee benefits enrollment, providing guidance and support to supervisors with respect to employee performance management; responding to unemployment compensation correspondence, and organizing all employee activities and in-services.

Qualifications
Education: Business Degree with Major in Human Resource Management is or related field. Current PHR certification is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years' experience in Human Resources. A minimum of two years' experience working in Human Resources within a healthcare setting highly preferred. Must have previous Supervisory or Director-Level experience.
Additional Requirements: Prefer candidates with good understanding of HR related Joint Commission Standards and be familiar with the Joint Commission Survey process. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have experience working with advanced applicant tracking systems (ATS). Good general computer knowledge, in Word and Excel, and ability to prepare HR reports.
