Location: Tampa, 33602 – Hybrid

Pay: $115,000-$145,000 with 20% bonus

Job description:

  1. Own and optimize the organization’s UKG HCM, Payroll, and Workforce Management platforms, including system configuration, workflow automation, reporting, security, integrations, and scalable architecture design across a multi-entity, multi-state environment.
  2. Lead end-to-end payroll operations and compliance for a rapidly growing portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely multi-state payroll processing, tax filings, audits, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  3. Develop and implement HRIS governance, SOPs, training materials, dashboards, and process documentation while serving as the escalation point for HRIS and payroll-related system support and issue resolution.
  4. Build and manage a scalable payroll operations model, including onboarding, training, and oversight of offshore payroll specialists while maintaining final approval authority and accountability for payroll accuracy and controls.
  5. Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and M&A teams to support acquisition integrations, maintain clean and auditable system configurations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that scale with organizational growth.

Requirements:

  • Must have 10+ years of payroll and HRIS experience including payroll tax compliance, garnishments, multi-state withholdings
  • Must have 5+ years of UKG Pro and Workforce Management configuration, integrations, and BI reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must have multi-entity and multi-state experience
  • Background check required
  • Drug screening required
