As a Director of Healthcare Services/RN, heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
• Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws and regulatory standards. • Coordinate and manage a team of LPN/RN field nurses, CNAs, and PCAs to ensure client and patient goals are met. • Orient, train, supervise, and retain qualified caregivers. • Ensure medical supplies/equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures. • Assess patient/client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. • Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient/client care.
A few must-haves for a Director of Healthcare Services/RN:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in GA. • Minimum of [5] years of nursing experience in home healthcare. • At least (2) years of supervisory nursing and caregiver management experience. • CPR certification. • TB test (within past 12 months). • Extensive knowledge of state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards. • Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
