The Director of Girl Scout Programming is responsible for ensuring that Girl Scout programs are accessible, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of diverse communities across Connecticut, including urban and rural areas. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to engage a diverse demographic across Connecticut, including underrepresented areas, while fostering partnerships and promoting equitable access to Girl Scout programs for all girls. The Director will provide overall leadership and direction for the design, development, and delivery of council-wide programming. The Director supervises the team responsible for developing and delivering program resources that address the needs and interests of Girl Scout members. These programs will assist in attracting new members to the organization and increase the retention of girls and adult members. At all times, the Director will portray a positive image that is representative of Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s policies and procedures and promote customer service to internal/external stakeholders.
