Our client is a rapidly growing Restaurant Franchise Operation with international presence!
The Director of Franchise Operations is tasked with managing the performance, compliance, brand integrity, and growth of franchise locations. This involves working closely with department heads and upper management personnel to identify ways to increase sales, boost employee retention, maintain guest satisfaction and ensure all brand standards are met. The Director is also responsible for growth of the brand through franchise locations and acts as the primary liaison between franchise owners and the home office.
Responsibilities:
Research and discover new systems and technologies that simplify operations and increase efficiency
Defining, implementing, and revising operational policies
Developing and executing new growth directives
Working with the human resources department to create job descriptions
Work with Director of Training on NRO agenda and execution
Work with Director of Training to help develop employee training programs and National Trainer programs
Analyze financial data (P&L, KPIs) to improve efficiency, drive sales, and reduce expenses.
Overseeing Franchise Partner support services
Managing procurement and resource allocation
Understand, believe in, and uphold our Mission, Vision, and Values
Develop a thorough understanding of company services and products
Develop Franchise Support Managers that understand and can cultivate a culture of coaching, care, support, and equity in all locations
Development of an operations organization through coaching, goal setting, and delegation to ensure a culture of focus on people development
Continuously train managers in soft skills, business acumen and metrics to strive for professional development
Ensures all locations are performing in each functional area of the business including service quality, a consultation and sales focus, and consistent execution to brand standards
Conducts location visits within assigned territory on a quarterly basis, as defined by the organization, and as needed to drive successful results
Facilitates the resolution of guest service issues with locations while successfully identifying and addressing systemic opportunities throughout their organization.
Promotes and implements new products, services, and initiatives.
Review labor, inventory, and applicable reports to audit for errors and address profitability related opportunities
Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial and service performance reports and updates
Implement business development plans with lower performing locations
Drive operating capabilities that exceed company goals and support consumer and employee satisfaction
Review of all Operational Standards Reviews and Location Visit notes to recognize strong performance and address any operational gaps
Ensure all locations and staff are current on all licensure, training, and documentation in accordance with state/federal/franchisor/company regulations
Participating in Quarterly Franchise Partner Conference Calls
