DIRECTOR OF FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing the daily F&B operations and overall experience of the Club and F&B outlets, including service, event programming and collaborating with culinary operations. This role is highly visible and hands-on, focused on delivering exceptional, hospitality-driven experience while continuously enhancing programming, operation efficiency, and member engagement.
A core priority of this role is to elevate the overall food & beverage experience across the Club, ensuring that culinary offerings are not only high-quality and consistent, but also distinctive, engaging, and reflective of a premier Club environment where members take pride in their dining experience. This includes development of a thoughtful, rotating menu that evolves seasonally and reflects member preferences, ensuring variety and continued excitement around the Club's culinary program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Club Operations & Member Experience
- Oversee all day-to-day Club food & beverage operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience across dining, activities, and events
- Act as a primary point of contact for members and guests, maintaining a strong presence and building meaningful relationships and being the "face" of the Club culinary program
- Ensure all service standards reflect the Club's brand and consistently exceed member expectations
- Proactively gather feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall member and guest experience
- Champion a culture of hospitality and excellence, with a particular focus on creating a Club environment where members feel a strong sense of pride in both the experience and offerings
Food & Beverage Leadership
- Manage all aspects of the F&B program, including lunch, dinner, bar service, and special events while collaborating and working closely with the Club's Executive Chef.
- Partner with the Executive Chef to develop fresh, seasonal menus aligned with member preferences offering variety throughout the year
- Oversee service execution, staffing levels, and training to ensure consistently high level of service, quality, and presentation across all outlets
- Develop and implement comprehensive training manuals and service standards for all positions within the F&B operation and outlets
- Monitor financial performance, including cost of goods, labor, and revenue optimization within all areas of the food & beverage department.
- Manage and conduct monthly inventories
- Identify opportunities to increase covers, average spend, and overall F&B profitability while maintaining a high level of service
Activities & Programming
- Oversee all F&B outlet activities, ensuring safe, engaging, and well-organized programming
- Develop and implement creative, high-quality events and experiences that drive member engagement and usage
- Incorporate culinary-driven experiences and activations that further showcase and elevate the Club's food beverage program
- Continuously introduce new menus and innovative programming aligned with member demographics and seasonal trends
- Collaborate with other departments to create integrated Club experiences
Team Leadership & Culture
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, service-oriented team across all areas F&B department
- Establish clear expectations, accountability, and a positive team culture
- Lead by example with a hands-on, visible leadership style that reinforces service excellence and attention to detail
- Develop a culture of pride, ownership, and continuous improvement within the F&B and culinary team
- Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and ongoing staff development
Operational Excellence & Efficiency
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve consistency, efficiency, and service delivery across all areas of the F&B operation
- Identify and execute operational improvements to streamline workflows and reduce costs while enhancing the overall guest and member experience
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Maintain facilities, equipment, and overall Club presentation at the highest level with a strong focus on dining experience and presentation
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across F&B and programming
- Develop and maintain an accurate annual budget that aligns with and supports both member expectations and ownership financial objectives
- Drive revenue through increased participation, elevated offerings, comprehensive events, and enhanced offerings
- Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in club, resort, or hospitality management (private club experience preferred)
- Strong background in food & beverage operations and event programming
- Experience managing multiple outlets (on course, pool, restaurant)
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
- Excellent communication and member engagement skills
