In this role, you will control the entire lifecycle of fleet assets—from acquisition to resale—leveraging market insight, financial discipline, and operational precision to maximize ROI. You’ll be the go-to expert and decision-maker, ensuring every vehicle delivers peak value throughout its life.

What You’ll Own & Drive as a Director of Fleet Optimization:
Take full ownership of fleet performance across the entire lifecycle—buy smarter, operate leaner, and sell at the right time for maximum return
Build and execute aggressive buy/repair/sell strategies using real-time market data, cost analysis, and asset performance metrics
Partner with executive leadership to shape vehicle acquisition strategy—what we buy, when we buy, and how we win on price
Lead all titling, registration, and compliance operations across multiple states with accuracy and speed
Optimize sales tax strategies and transfer processes to reduce cost and ensure compliance
Own and strengthen relationships with auctions, wholesalers, and resale channels—negotiating hard to drive higher recovery values
Maximize vehicle resale value by ensuring clean, well-documented, and properly de-identified assets
Implement scalable, repeatable processes for vehicle condition reporting and asset evaluation
Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure zero compliance risk
Build, lead, and elevate a high-performing administrative and titling team
Deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership that influence major financial and operational decisions
What You Bring to as a Director of Fleet Optimization:
5+ years of success in fleet management, automotive operations, asset lifecycle management, or vehicle remarketing
Deep expertise in titling, registration, and multi-state compliance—no learning curve
Proven ability to drive cost savings and increase asset recovery through better decisions and vendor leverage
Strong financial mindset—you think in terms of ROI, margins, and performance optimization
Skilled negotiator with experience managing vendors and driving favorable outcomes
Highly disciplined, detail-oriented, and process-focused
Ownership mentality—you don’t just manage, you take responsibility and deliver results
Experience scaling systems and processes across large fleets (1,000+ vehicles preferred)
Background in auctions, wholesale, or dealership operations is a strong advantage
