Director of Finance

Banyan Search is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, supporting both short-term performance and long-term organizational objectives. The role requires a strong analytical leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support strategic business initiatives
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide executive decision-making
• Prepare and present financial insights and reports to senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
• Lead and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required
• 5+ years of finance experience with leadership responsibility
• Financial Institution experience desired
• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver insights in a dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with reporting and analytics tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Experience in a regulated or structured environment is a plus
