Director of Finance

A confidential organization is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join its dynamic team in California. This role offers the opportunity to influence global strategy while collaborating with a mission-driven leadership team. The Director of Finance will lead global financial operations, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management, while supporting long-term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global financial strategies to support international operations, expansion, and profitability
  • Oversee global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Manage financial risks, including foreign exchange exposure, international tax structures, and compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with global accounting standards and regulations
  • Lead and mentor regional finance teams to drive consistency and best practices
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other international initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish REQUIRED
  • Extensive experience in international finance and leadership roles
  • Experience managing global operations and cross-border teams
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, international tax regulations, and foreign exchange
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead in a multicultural, multinational environment
