The Director of Finance oversees all accounting and financial operations for a health plan, providing strategic leadership in budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial analysis.
They ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting aligned with GAAP and regulations, support organizational goals, and partner with leadership and external stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, managing forecasts, implementing cost strategies, overseeing financial components of operations, and leading planning processes.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years of finance experience (healthcare preferred), leadership skills, and knowledge of healthcare finance, GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
This hybrid role requires onsite presence at least 3 days/week in Raleigh, NC.
Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership abilities are essential.
