    We empower our leaders to innovate, build scalable systems, and raise the bar. As we grow, we are hiring a Director of Finance & Accounting to strengthen our trust accounting infrastructure, ensure compliance, and create financial clarity across a rapidly expanding portfolio.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    As our Director of Finance and Accounting, you will own Trust and Business accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and property management accounting while strengthening controls, supporting audits, and improving system automation within Escapia a (PMS) and ERP system.

    Success means efficient workflows, real-time financial visibility, and systems that scale as the portfolio grows.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead all trust accounting operations and maintain full regulatory compliance

    • Manage, mentor, and develop the remote accounting team

    • Oversee accounts receivable, guest payments, deposits, refunds, and folio accuracy

    • Own reconciliations and produce weekly, monthly, and annual reports

    • Ensure accuracy of owner statements and distributions

    • Manage TOT taxes, city filings, licenses, and audit readiness

    • Oversee vendor, real estate, and travel advisor payables

    • Improve workflows and automation within Escapia

    • Build scalable SOPs, KPIs, and financial playbooks

    • Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow

    • Lead year-end processes, including 1099s and inventory reconciliation

    • Respond quickly to financial questions through Slack, Asana, and internal systems

    • Managing a team of 5 employees in the accounting department.

    • Overseeing all financial statements and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting protocols and SOPs.

    • Collaborating closely with the company CPA and CFO on year-end tax preparation, owner’s equity distribution, and year-end closing.

    • Support Accounting manager with : Business Insurance policy's Renewals , Payroll , Team Bonuses ,1099,  Financial statements ,401k And department development

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4+ years of accounting  director level experience in property management, real estate, Vacation Rentals, hospitality

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

    • Knowledge of GAAP, audits, and internal controls

    • Strong background in reconciliations, audits, and compliance

    • Experience with Escapia, Guesty, Streamline, or similar PMS platforms

    • Proven leader of high-performing accounting teams

    • Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

    • Advanced user of tools such as QuickBooks,NetSuite,Excel,Asana, Slack and workflow systems

    • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to move quickly and accurately and manage multi project and tasks

    • Clear communicator who collaborates well across departments

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

    Salary: $105,000 - 135,000 based on experience

    Bonus:

    Monthly performance bonus of 10 to 20 percent after a 90-day probation period, tied to goal achievement and management approval
