The Heartland Roadshow is a nationwide buyer of estate jewelry, precious metals, gold and silver coins, and collectibles. We operate high-volume field buying operations across the United States, similar in scale and complexity to distributed retail and logistics networks.
We are growing rapidly and need a leader who can ensure consistent execution across all field locations.
The Director of Field Operations (Multi-Site) is responsible for ensuring nationwide field operations execute consistently, accurately, and without failure.
This role owns real-time operational coordination across multiple locations, ensuring scheduling, logistics, staffing, and field readiness all align and execute as planned.
You will be responsible for stabilizing execution across distributed operations and resolving issues before they escalate to senior leadership.
Own execution of multi-site field operations across the U.S.
Ensure all scheduled field deployments run as planned without breakdowns
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, staffing, and travel readiness across markets
Resolve operational issues in real time before escalation
Identify and eliminate recurring execution failures
Ensure field teams are prepared, aligned, and properly supported
Act as primary escalation point for operational disruptions
Maintain visibility into execution risk across all active locations
Drive immediate resolution of day-of and last-minute operational issues
Ensure consistent standards across all field locations
Hands-on operational leadership role focused on execution, not strategy alone
Embedded in real-time problem solving when issues arise
Responsible for ensuring “planned = executed” across all field operations
Requires direct involvement in operational details when needed
Experience managing multi-site operations, logistics, field operations, or distributed execution environments
Proven ability to stabilize or improve complex, fast-moving operational systems
Experience making real-time decisions in high-pressure environments
Background in operations-heavy industries (logistics, retail, distribution, military, field services, etc.)
High-agency operator who takes ownership without waiting for direction
Strong bias toward action, accountability, and follow-through
Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-changing environments
Proven ability to resolve issues directly and quickly
Strong cross-functional coordination and leadership skills
Relentless focus on execution and preventing repeat failures
Remote – United States
$130,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience)
