Rockhurst University's School of Education invites applications for a full-time Director of Field Experience and Assessment staff position. This is an 11-month position starting August 2026. Responsibilities include facilitating the placement of undergraduate and graduate education students in required field experiences/practicums, supervising and mentoring student teachers, serving as the Certification Officer, academic advising, monitoring the quality of the learning experiences provided to students in field experience and professional semester placements, coordinating processes for assessment of student learning outcomes, and leading accreditation preparation and reporting for continuous improvement. Applicants must have demonstrated successful experiences teaching in K-12 schools and assessment practices for continuous improvement.

Accreditation covers the following initial teacher preparation programs: Elementary Education (1-6), Special Education in Mild/Moderate Cross-Categorical Disabilities (K-12), Secondary English (9-12), Secondary Mathematics (9-12), Secondary Chemistry (9-12), Secondary Biology (9-12), French (K-12), Spanish (K-12), and Secondary Social Science (9-12) and advanced preparation programming for Administration School Leader (K-12).
